After working with thousands of female entrepreneurs.

Over the last few years, I’ve had A LOT of super talented women reach out to me for help.
Typically, they come to me with amazing Genius Zones that they want to share with the world….
But aren’t sure how to do it.
Most of the time they need my help because they’ve lost momentum and are feeling really stuck.
I get it…
It’s actually really easy to get into this cycle.
I call it “Entrepreneurial Groundhog Day” and it’s the worst 🙁
The thing is though….
After being able to turn their situations around time and time again….
One common thing kept coming up….
The reason they were struggling wasn’t that their Genius Zone wasn’t valuable… or that their competitors were “too good”…
It wasn’t that she wasn’t rich enough, techy enough, or experienced enough…
It was usually about the business model they’d chosen.
They way they presented themselves to their market wasn’t serving them, and after working closely with these women I realized:
All it took were one or two SIMPLE tweaks for them to achieve the same big outcome.
An outcome we all strive for…
…and what that I believe is the #1 reason behind why we all end up starting a business in the first place.
What is it?
Creating freedom is why you got into this business, right?!
To live life on your own terms…
To be able to do what you love each day..
To live where you want to live…
To spend quality time with the people in your life that really matter.

And guess what?
Achieving this freedom lifestyle as a female entrepreneur comes down to just…
ONE NUMBER in your business.
A number that you must focus on solely with all your energy until it is reached.
You guessed it.
I have a name for this number 😉
The Freedom Metric.
Every business has one…
…and in this blog, I am going to show you how to reach it.
Your Freedom Metric is your monthly revenue number… that allows you to finally take a step back and breathe.
To know that the bills are going to be paid and that there will still be money left over at the end of the month.
Money that will start affording you that lifestyle you dreamed of… when you first started your business.

So to answer your next question…
Yes, The Freedom Metric does vary depending on your industry.
But if you’re reading this letter I would say there is a pretty strong chance you’re a coach, consultant, or professional services entrepreneur.
Meaning, you help people with their health, relationships, business, finances, hobbies, or passions…
If so, this applies to you:
So, what is your Freedom Metric going to be?
Drum roll please…
$20,000 per month.
At $20,000 per month a lot of things have already started to happen…
You have validated and proved your concept.
You have created a solid offer and product.
You are earning A LOT more than what you would be if you were stuck in a JOB.
You know how to sell.
You have developed the skills needed to take you to 7-figures a year…
$20,000 a month (or $240,000 a year) in revenue is a daunting number for a lot of female entrepreneurs.
I get that, but it doesn’t need to be…
Like I said, if you’ve been working too hard for your Freedom Metric and you’re still not hitting it…
Chances are, a few simple tweaks to how you’ve set up your business could be all it takes.
The two biggest tweaks I make when a coach or consultant comes to me wanting help are:
1. They aren’t charging enough.
2. They aren’t having human-to-human conversations with their market.
They’re afraid of running a human to human sales conversation…
So they hide behind the computer screen, paid advertising, complicated funnels, and other time-wasters instead.
If this is you, then this is the adult conversation we needed to have 🙂
Now don’t get me wrong…
There is definitely a time and place for a sophisticated, automated selling machine like a funnel…
But NOT when you are first starting out.
And DEFINITELY NOT if you haven’t hit your Freedom Metric.
What’s the easiest way to reach The Freedom Metric?
Hands down, creating a high-ticket offer and selling it via a strategy session.
“High-ticket” = over $2,000.
An offer like this should be…
A “Done For You” service (where you do the work for the client)…
OR, a “Done With You” coaching program (where you encourage, support, guide, train and generally hold your client accountable).
Whether it’s “Done With You” or “Done For You”
I recommend creating a program or service where you take your client from point A to B…
…and solve ONE specific problem they are experiencing.
So how do you sell it?
The easiest way to sell a high-ticket offer is always via a phone or online consult call or strategy session.
If the thought of a sales call has you running for the hills, don’t worry!
I have plenty of amazing tips and tricks for coaches selling $2,000+ packages over the phone for the first time…

But for now, just know: I always recommend this simple model to get momentum FAST.

What I learned very early on in business that SIMPLE = BEST and that’s what this model is.
Back when I reached the Freedom Metric for the first time as a coach and consultant….
I was selling a $5,000, 6-week Done With You Marketing Automation program over the phone 🙂
That now brings me to….
What you should be charging to hit your Freedom Metric?
Typically, if you are selling a High-Ticket offer on a phone consult you need to be charging at least $2,000…
Start where you feel comfortable and work your way up from there.
For me $5,000 just seemed like a nice round number.
It also provided lopsided value in favour of my clients in what I was providing for them.
As in my clients were getting WAY more value compared to what I was actually charging them…
Basically, they loved me and by the end of our 6 weeks together…
Many of them continued to pay me ongoing to look after what we had created together 🙂
Based on these numbers you would only need to make 1 sale per week to reach your Freedom Metric…
That sounds achievable, right?!
So, how many sales consult calls do you need to make that one sale?
Well, if you’re attracting the right clients, asking the right questions, and following the right script, typically 1 in 5 of your consults will convert to a sale.
Very doable right?!!!
So, why don’t more female entrepreneurs embrace this simple approach to business?
In my experience, it always comes down to them not wanting to embrace the “human” aspect of business.
Human to human conversations are the #1 thing you need to be having… as a coach, consultant or professional services entrepreneur in 2020.
Especially if you are just starting out.
Your market is craving it.
And let me remind you…
People much prefer doing business with other humans than a random page on the internet!
Even if you aren’t selling, getting on the phone and speaking with your ideal clients…. and learning what specific help they need is invaluable!
It will help you craft your irresistible high-ticket offer….
That will get you to the Freedom Metric faster than anything else.
The Freedom Metric is your gateway to a whole new world.
When I first started out coaching and consulting….
Being able to earn $10,000 per month was my dream.
At that point I knew I probably wouldn’t have to work for anyone ever again and I could do what I loved everyday…
As it turns out $10,000 per month probably wasn’t enough…
The more accurate number was much closer to $20,000 per month when you consider all the other adult expenses 🙁
Annoying responsibilities like:
- Electricity bills (crazy expensive here in Australia)
- Car loan
- Emergency fund
- Health insurance
- Eating out and having fun
But you know what?
In getting to that $10,000 per month mark I had acquired so many of the skills, confidence and determination that I needed…
That have now enabled me to go on and be the owner of a multi 7-Figure per year coaching and consulting business.
Even though $10,000 for me probably wasn’t my real Freedom Metric, it was the first door I had to reach and walkthrough.
It gave me the momentum to reach the $20,000 per month mark soon after and that is when things really started to change 🙂
You will look back in 1,3 or even 5 years and think WOW…
“Drawing that line in the sand and committing to reaching my Freedom Metric… was the ONE THING that changed my future forever.”
Being able to identify this one number, zero in on it, and give it your complete focus is the key.
And that’s when I got out of my own way!
I went from having to hustle and grind just to pay my bills…
To finding myself in a stress-free, super automated business that netted me over $250,000 in my first year.
I had also acquired skills that no one could take away from me.
Client-getting skills I would be able to rely on for as long as I remained an entrepreneur.
So think about this….
Imagine what YOUR life would look like when you hit that Freedom Metric?
Imagine what your business would look like… if you were signing just 1 new client per week and earning $20,000 per month.
Your stress would decrease.
You could spend more time with the people you love.
You wouldn’t always have to be working, hustling or whatever Gary V is calling it at the moment.
You could have the income that would afford you to have the freedom to choose and experience life on a totally different level… to what you have been used to.
All by focusing in on and reaching The Freedom Metric.
But finding it can be hard…
It can take years of trial and error and it cost me hundreds of thousands in bad decisions and mistakes…
Mistakes nearly cost me my dream, but luckily I worked it out.
The good news is, you don’t need to!
